Single-Family Rehab Project
Rebuilding Together Metro Denver is expanding their services into Douglas County. This organization assists low-income, and elderly and disabled people with home repairs to allow them to continue to live independently in warm, safe and dry homes. The clients they serve are unable to afford home repairs and are physically unable to perform the repairs themselves. Repairs and maintenance are completed by contractors, skilled volunteers and staff. Programs offered by Rebuilding Together help maintain integrated living patterns in Douglas County as the repairs completed help enable their clients to remain in their homes with dignity, independence and safety, and in some cases delay institutionalization or long-term out-of-home care.
