Maureen Tarrant is President and Chief Executive Officer of Sky Ridge Medical Center, which opened in August 2003 in Lone Tree, Colorado.
With more than 20 years of healthcare management experience, Maureen was promoted to CEO in 2001 from her position as HealthONE Vice President for Strategic and Administrative Services. As CEO, she was instrumental in the planning, design and development, construction and management of Sky Ridge – HCA/HealthONE’s seventh and newest hospital.
Active in the community, Maureen is a member of the Board of Trustees/Governors of the Southeast Business Partnership. She is also a board member/Treasurer of the Colorado Hospital Association, a board member of the Eating Disorder Center of Denver, a member of the Regis Jesuit High School Institutional Advancement Committee, and a member of American Hospital Association’s Regional Policy Board. Maureen is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. In 2004, Maureen was presented with the prestigious Visionary Award from CREW Denver, the local organization of Commercial Real Estate Women, for her commitment to change the face of patient care and economic expansion in south metro Denver.
Maureen received her MBA in healthcare management from Boston University. She and her husband, John, live in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Their two children are in college (CU) and graduate school (DU) here in Colorado.
