New Passport Fees Effective July 13, 2010
The US Department of State announced there will be new passport fees going into effect on July 13, 2010. Information on the fee increase can also be found at travel.state.gov.

New Passport Requirements Effective June 1, 2009
Beginning on June 1, 2009 citizens traveling to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and The Caribbean Region will be required to have a passport, passport card, or other travel document to re-enter the United States. More information on the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative can be found at travel.state.gov.
The Recording Office at 301 Wilcox St. in Castle Rock accepts passport applications between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. As part of our effort to provide diverse government services, we will also offer passport photo services during these same business hours. Our office can provide pictures for $8.00. Allow at least four weeks for the U.S. Department of State to process the application.
