Colorado State Parks Passes »

The Colorado Aspen Leaf Pass and the Annual State Parks Pass are now available for purchase through the Douglas County Recorder's Office.

The Aspen Leaf pass is for persons 64 or older. Starting June 30, 2011, Colorado residents 64 years and older will receive a $10 discount on the Aspen Leaf Annual Pass, which will cost $60. The fee for the standard annual pass is $70. Seniors will receive a $3 discount on all camping, from tent sites to full service RV hookups, Sunday through Thursday evenings, excluding holidays. Apply On Line for your Marriage License»

A marriage license can be obtained by visiting the Clerk & Recorder's office at any of our three locations. The fee is $30.00 payable by cash or debit/credit card only.

To help reduce waiting time, you may now fill out your marriage application online! Be sure to fill out this form completely and click "Submit" at the end to proceed. Once the online form is completed, the bride and groom must finalize their application by visiting any of the three Clerk & Recorder's Office locations and presenting valid photo identification:

Marriage License are issued from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 301 Wilcox Street, Castle Rock and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2223 Wildcat Reserve Parkway, Littleton and 16522 Keystone Blvd in Parker.

Passport Acceptance and Processing »

The Douglas County Recording Office is a passport acceptance facility. Occasionally the U.S. Department of State changes requirements for those people applying for passports. Please check our passport information page prior to applying for a passport.

Designated Beneficiary Agreements provide a new tool for estate planning, giving Coloradans access to a low-cost and convenient method for making plans for end-of-life decisions, inheritance, and other protections related to health care and medical emergencies. They provide the opportunity for two unmarried adults to designate one another as the person entitled to certain financial protections and decision-making powers in major life events.
