| Appointment Process: | One from each Local Jurisdiction participating in the Douglas County CDBG program (Town of Castle Rock, Parker, Larkspur and the Cities of Lone Tree and Castle Pines), two from each Commissioner District; and one that is appointed from each jurisdiction. |
| Description: | Makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) regarding matters related to the development , implementation, evaluation of the CDBG Program; and make recommendations to the BCC about recipients of Douglas County CDBG funds during each program year. |
| Meets: | First Monday of the month. Administrative Organization meeting at 5:30 p.m., Public meeting at 6:00 p.m., also one to three work sessions as necessary. The CDBG Advisory Board meets in the Philip S. Miller Building, 100 Third Street, Castle Rock. |

Community Development Block Grant
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) is a grant program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) administered by the Douglas County Community Development Department. The program provides funding in support of community needs throughout Douglas County. The grant amount received by the County is based on population size and the number of low- to moderate-income persons residing in the County.
