Want to hit the trails? Join Douglas County Parks and Trail staff on guided bike rides. County staff will lead the ride, point out areas of interest, and answer any questions you may have about the trail and surrounding area(s).
Simply choose a ride below, click on the date and register online today. Bike Rides are available for the Cherry Creek Regional Trail, East-West Regional Trail, and the High Line Canal. All rides start at 9 a.m. and are limited to 15 riders per ride.
Please dress appropriately, bring your bike, water and snacks, sunscreen and a helmet! All riders must sign a release waiver and all minors (anyone under the age of 18) must be accompanied by a legal guardian. A release waiver will be e-mailed to you after registration.
In the event of is cancelled due to weather or other reasons, you will be notified the day before via email. Bike ride events will not be rescheduled.

Cherry Creek Regional Trail
Discover the Cherry Creek Regional Trail on an out-and-back ride of 15 total miles. The ride is flat and the trail surface is concrete with about 3 miles of dirt/gravel road.
Please meet at 9 a.m. at 6662 N. Pinery Parkway, Parker, CO 80134.
East-West Regional Trail Part 1
Discover the Eastern stretches of the East-West Regional Trail on an out-and-back ride of 10-11 total miles. The ride is hilly on a groomed dirt trail. There are currently two detours on this ride: one involves an un-groomed trail surface detour around housing construction and the other around raptor nesting via paved roads (residential and arterial).
Please meet at 9 a.m. on the western edge of the Cabela’s parking lot , 10670 Cabela Drive, Lone Tree, CO 80124.
East-West Regional Trail Part 2
Discover even more East-West Regional Trail on this out-and-back ride of 10-11 total miles. The ride is hilly on groomed dirt trail.
Meet at 9 a.m. at Rocky Heights Middle School, 11033 Monarch Blvd, Lone Tree, CO 80124. There is a dirt lot for the trail at the South end of the school parking lot.
East-West Regional Trail Part 3
Our final ride on the East-West Regional Trail is an out-and-back ride of 12-13 total miles. The ride is hilly on a groomed dirt trail through the scenic back country areas of Northern Douglas County.
Meet at 9 a.m. at the trail head on Grigs Road, 11700 Grigs Road, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126.
High Line Canal
Discover the historic High Line Canal with us for an out-and-back ride of 15 total miles. The ride is flat on a dirt trail with some soft sandy sections. There are also 6 total road crossings.
