Student Art Contest Election Year 2016 – Deadline Extended to November 4, 2016.

The Douglas County Clerk and Recorder Elections Division, Douglas County Educational Foundation, Douglas County Libraries, Castle Rock Bank and FastFrame of Greenwood Village present the Student Art Content Election Year 2016.

The contest is open to all Douglas County School District students and home schooled residents of Douglas County.

First prize: Microsoft Surface Tablet or Apple iPod and permanent display at the Douglas County Elections Office.
Runner Up: $100 cash prize

Entry Submission Deadline November 4, 2016

The contest will be divided into the following divisions, and students are encouraged to submit art that speaks to the theme of their division:

Division 1 – Grades K-3
Theme: What America Means to Me

Division 2 – Grades 4-6
Theme: Why We Should Vote

Division 3 – Grades 7-8
Theme: The Responsibilities of Citizenship

Division 4 – Grades 9-12
Theme: “We Hold These Truths to be Self-Evident…:”
