Tri-County Health Department (TCHD) serves more than 1,147,000 citizens living in the 3,000 square miles of Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas Counties. TCHD provides personal and environmental public health services through more than 65 programs.

Comprehensive environmental, health care, nutrition and health education services are available. The public health services provided by TCHD include providing immunizations, family planning and prenatal care, improving nutrition, conducting restaurant inspections and assuring sanitation.

Funding is provided through federal, state and county appropriations, grants, contracts and fees. Each county contributes the same per capita cost based on population estimates prepared by the state demographer.
