Our Mission
The Project Management Office focus is: "support the customer, while understanding and meeting the customer’s growing technology needs." The Project Management Office (PMO) staff provides ‘cradle to grave’ project management, business analysis, training, and customer/user support.
We help our users to:
- identify and quantify their needs
- implement solutions
- maintain the ongoing relationship through training and support
Our involvement begins with understanding the county’s business and identifying technology needs, which spawns projects and programs to meet those needs:
- The Program Manager is responsible for managing the portfolio of projects and other service requests.
- The Business Analyst plays a key role in forming the requests for new or improved technology. These folks translate user needs into specifications used by the technical team to produce solutions. They then work with the users to validate that the solution meets their need.
- Project Management Professional (PMP)-certified Project Managers plan, coordinate, track and communicate progress providing oversight and auditing of active projects They also work with the IT Steering Committee to establish project priorities.
Our commitment does not end when we deploy a new system. Ongoing support includes training and end user desktop and application support:
- The Training Administrator provides classroom and web-based training curriculum and facilities for Enterprise applications.
