Have you ever had a question about the land development around the corner from your home or business, but didn’t know where to find out what’s happening?

Douglas County’s mobile-responsive online development search tool allows users easy access to detailed information about the variety of projects taking place throughout the unincorporated areas of the County.

“We are committed to empowering our citizens and taxpayers through accessible information,” said Commissioner and Board Chair David Weaver. “This new tool not only makes it easier for individuals to gain access to information, but it also enables market research teams a fast, user-friendly way to learn about the types of businesses that have come into Douglas County in recent years.”

A previous version of this online tool required users to know the project number before searching for information on a development. The new, mobile-friendly version enables a search using nearby addresses, key words such as names of businesses or developers, and multiple interactive maps to locate the exact project they seek.

With the newly updated system, users may find information on development projects in unincorporated Douglas County dating back to 2009, as well as some information on many older projects.
