Liquor Licensing Authority seeks applicants for two open seats

Applicants must be residents of Douglas County in Commissioner District I (Acres Green, Lone Tree and Parker area).

Are you a resident of Douglas County with an interest in serving your community? If you live in the areas of Acres Green, Lone Tree or Parker in Douglas County (Commissioner District I) you have an opportunity to serve in a volunteer role on a Board that reviews, issues and regulates beer and liquor licenses for all entities serving alcoholic beverages in the unincorporated areas of Douglas County.

Meetings are held monthly, or as needed. Applicants for the two vacancies (one regular member and one alternate) must be a resident of Douglas County – District I; may not be a member of a law enforcement agency or have an interest in an entity with a liquor license; will have no record of alcohol related violations; will have experience with the conduct of administrative hearings; and must have experience with or knowledge of the Colorado Liquor Code, or will be required to attend training provided by State Liquor Enforcement.
