Business Meetings
Business Meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the Hearing Room of the Philip Miller Building (100 Third Street, Castle Rock). The current Business Meeting Agenda will be posted prior to the scheduled meeting date.
Land Use Meeting & Public Hearing
Those agenda items which, under state law or adopted county rules, require formal published notice are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 2:30 p.m. in the hearing room of the Philip S. Miller Building (100 Third Street, Castle Rock). The current Public Hearing Agenda will be posted prior to the scheduled meeting date. Special Public Hearings may be scheduled at different times as needed.
Commissioner Weekly Schedule
The Douglas County Board of County Commissioners holds regular Work Sessions to further its work on Policies and its Job Products, as well as, regular meetings with the County Attorney and County Manager for briefings on emerging issues. These Work Sessions (except for Executive Sessions) are open to the public. The Board may alter the times of the meetings throughout the day, or cancel or reschedule noticed meetings.

Citizen Ad Hoc Committees
Citizen Ad Hoc Advisory Committees are groups of citizens organized for the purpose of providing advice and assistance to the County Commissioners regarding various County issues.
Citizen Advisory Boards and Commissions
The Board of County Commissioners established several advisory bodies (boards and commissions) to provide input to the County's decision-making process. Private citizens who are residents of Douglas County may serve and apply to the Board of County Commissioners to serve on advisory boards and commissions. Responsibilities, terms of office, membership size, appointment process, and meeting schedules vary for each board and commission.
Town Meetings
