Access and Functional Needs Registry

The Douglas County Access and Functional Needs Registry is a database containing information about individuals in Douglas County with special needs who may require assistance in the event of a disaster. The information may also be used to assist emergency personnel and volunteers in providing assistance. Participation in this Registry is voluntary.

Report Out of State Plates or Expired Temporary Tags

Colorado State Law, residents with out-of-state license plates must register their vehicle in Colorado within 90 days of residency even if the plates are not expired.

Special Event Permit Online Application

A special event is defined as any event which cannot be held on a county road, street, or other right-of-way and at the same time comply with applicable traffic statutes or ordinances.  Special events include, but are not limited to, parades, fairs, exhibitions, motion picture filming, bicycle events, foot races or walks.

Vehicle Renewal Registration

Renewing vehicle registrations has never been easier, thanks to an enhanced online vehicle registration renewal service implemented by Douglas County in collaboration with the State Web portal, Colorado.gov. and the Department of Revenue. For an additional $1.00 fee, you can renew using your existing checks as an electronic check or you can use your credit card. The fee structure is explained under the administrative processing fee link on the main web page www.colorado.gov/renewplates.
