Highlights:
This is the first leg of the East-West Regional Trail that will connect Chatfield State Park with the Town of Parker. The trail winds through grasslands and oak bluffs including thousand of acres of the Open Space Conservation Area.

Trail Rating:
Moderately Easy; some climbing for short distances; elevation change approximately 200 feet

Trail Length:
1.5 miles is completed. Proposed finished trail length will be approximately 26 miles.

Trail Surface:
Crusher fines

Uses:
Multi-use: hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking; dogs on leash

Amenities:
Restroom and picnic shelter at Grigs Road Trailhead

Location:
11700 Grigs Road, Highlands Ranch; trail will eventually extend to Lone Tree and Parker. Take C-470 south to S. University Blvd, right on Wildcat Reserve Pkwy, left on McArthur Ranch Rd. to Grigs Rd. Drive south 2 miles to trailhead on left. Or from Santa Fe take Daniels Park Rd. north 5 miles to Grigs Rd.; trailhead on right.
