Located in the Pinery subdivision, Bingham Lake is quiet oasis that is enjoyed by hikers, mountain bikers, dog enthusiasts, non-motorized boaters and fisherman. Douglas County Parks and Trails manages the recreational facilities and the fishery. The one mile loop trail around the 25 acre lake is a popular attraction year round for local residents and visitors to the area. The shade shelter located at the west trailhead is a perfect location for a picnic as you take in the beauty of the front range and observe the waterfowl that frequent the lake.Bingham3

Located in the Pinery subdivision, Bingham Lake is a quiet oasis that is enjoyed by hikers, mountain bikers, dog enthusiasts, and fisherman. Bingham Lake is open to the public for those that want to wet a line and test their skills against some of the various warm water game species that inhabit the lake. This includes large mouth bass, black crappie, walleye, blue gill, yellow perch and wipers. The lake is managed under a private lake license so a Colorado State Fishing license is not required.  Changes in regulations from Pinery Water and Wastewater District prohibit any type of boating or contact with the water. A stocking program began in the spring of 2005 so “Catch and Release” is strongly encouraged to insure that the quality of the fishery is maintained.
