The condition of a curb, gutter or sidewalk in unincorporated Douglas County is rated low, medium or high priority depending upon the condition of the concrete and potential hazard to pedestrians. Examples of photos displaying the level of priorities are shown below:
Low Priority
A low priority repair consists of cosmetic flaws and small cracks in the concrete |
Medium Priority
A medium priority repair consists of concrete areas containing several cracks and/or holes in the gutter resulting in a moderate amount of loss of structural integrity.
|
High Priority High priority repairs consist of sidewalks that may cause tripping hazards for pedestrians or severe deterioration of curb and gutter that allows water to permeate under the roadway. Concrete rated at a high priority will be evaluated and will be replaced as soon as possible. |
The Department of Public Works Operations has limited resources to address residential concrete repair, therefore concrete repairs are prioritized and addressed on a "Worst First" basis.
If you have a curb, gutter or sidewalk that you would like staff to evaluate for replacement or repair, please call 303.660.7480 or fill out the online request.
