Property Tax Payment Options
Property tax payment by credit card is available online, by telephone or in person in the Treasurer’s Office. A 2.35% service fee (2.99% AMEX) will apply to all credit card transactions.
- By Mail
Make checks payable to DOUGLAS COUNTY TREASURER. To ensure accurate credit of your payment, please include the appropriate coupon with your payment.

To make a payment online, use the Property Tax Inquiry to locate your parcel, then click on the Pay My Taxes link in the top heading. Please be aware that the Treasurer’s Office will consider your account paid only upon acceptance by the financial institution.

Note: When paying taxes by credit card the transaction will not be considered complete until you have obtained a payment confirmation number. Please provide an email address to obtain your receipt.

Electronic Check (Direct payment from a checking or savings account).
Credit Cards are accepted online, in person or over the phone at the Treasurer’s Office.
In addition to the payment amount, each credit card transaction is subject to a service fee which is collected by a third party vendor to cover processing costs and are not retained by Douglas County. This service fee is non-refundable in the event of overpayment or refund of any part of the property tax.
You will have the opportunity to review all applicable fees prior to finalizing your transaction. Credit card payments are an alternative to traditional types of payments and is considered voluntary.
Electronic Check Payments
Payment via E-check is free of charge. Please contact the Treasurer’s Office at 303.660.7455 for further information.
E-checks are a direct payment from a checking or savings account.
