2018 Property Tax Notifications in the mail

New in 2018 – Enable the Douglas County skill set on your Amazon Echo device and say ”Alexa, ask Douglas County, how do I pay my property taxes?”

If you are a property owner in Douglas County, the County Treasurer’s office asks you to watch for the delivery of 2018 property tax information to your U.S. Postal Service billing address beginning the week of January 22.

To view your parcel details, make an online payment, obtain current and prior year property tax history and receipts for payments, as well as view and print your current year tax statement visit www.douglascotax.com.

Is your mailing address current?  If you are a property owner in Douglas County and have not received your property tax notification by February 1, please contact the Douglas County Treasurer’s Office at dctreasurer@douglas.co.us or call the Treasurer’s Office:  303-660-7455.  As the Treasurer’s Office bills for property taxes only once per year, it is critical that your mailing address be kept current or you may not receive your property tax payment information.  To submit mailing address changes, visit the Assessor’s website for the Change of Mailing Address online tool.

Taxpayers have the option to pay taxes in one full installment by April 30 or in two installments with the first half due by the last of February and the second half due by June 15.
