You give more than you take in Douglas County – we see that every year in the thousands of you who volunteer in various capacities to keep our community safe, joyful and beautiful. Your Board of Douglas County Commissioners has formally recognized April as National Volunteer Month, April 21-27 as National Volunteer Week and proclaimed a “Dougnad” volunteer season.
