Public Trustee, Christine M. Duffy

Christine DuffyChristine M. Duffy was originally appointed Public Trustee for Douglas County by Gov. John Hickenlooper in June 2015, and reappointed by Gov. Jared Polis in 2019.

In her role as Public Trustee, Duffy is responsible for administering the foreclosure process, releasing deeds of trust upon loan satisfaction, and assuring taxes are properly escrowed under installment land contracts.

Prior to assuming the position of Public Trustee, Christine spent her career in the private sector working in sales, marketing and management roles in the telecommunications, health care and aviation industries. Duffy is a native of Ohio and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. Residents of Castle Pines since 2003, Christine and her husband, Kevin, enjoy spending time with their 2 children and 2 dogs in the Douglas County Open Space.
