Appointed by Gov. John Hickenlooper in June 2015, Christine M. Duffy is serving her first term as Public Trustee for Douglas County.
As public trustee, Duffy is responsible for administering the foreclosure process, approving the release of deeds of trust when a loan has been satisfied, and assuring taxes are properly escrowed under installment land contracts.
Duffy and her husband, Kevin, have been residents of Castle Pines since 2003. Christine Duffy has spent her career prior to assuming the trustee position in the private sector. From 2012-2015, she worked as a special projects manager and analyst for Newell Consulting, Inc., a boutique telecommunications, IT and network consulting company. At NC, her primary responsibility was managing revenue assurance.
Prior to her time at NC, she was employed as a physician liaison at Conceptions Reproductive Associates of Colorado, a women’s health and fertility center where she managed the sales and marketing initiatives and was developed and implemented a strategic sales plan and was responsible for profit and loss. Before Conceptions, she held a similar position with South Denver Cardiology Associates, P.C.
A native of Lima, Ohio and a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Duffy’s earlier work experience all comes in the state of Ohio, where she worked as a marketing manager for Ohio Heart, L.L.C., a director for executive charter sales at Flight Time Executive, Inc., and a manager of executive charter sales at NetJets Aviation, Inc.
A mother of boy/girl twins, she has also served since 2011 as a dedicated volunteer at Timber Trail Elementary School in Castle Pines, where her children attend.
