To provide consistency with the County’s Comprehensive Master Plan, Douglas County is amending the Matters of State Interest Regulations, commonly known as “1041 Regulations”. The proposed amendment is to revise the Urbanized Growth Center definition so that the 1041 Regulations are not applied to small developments that are not “urban” in nature.
A public workshop will occur to review the proposed amendment at 4 p.m. April 18 in the Philip S. Miller building, hearing room, 100 Third Street in Castle Rock.
The full text of the proposed amendment can be obtained by accessing the Douglas County Project Records Online database. Once in the database, click on “Project Search” and type DR2019-001. Once your search comes up, click on “View Project”.
