There are several reasons why you would want to file your declaration on-line:
Visit www.DouglasFilesOnline.org and enter your FEIN and Account Number, view your assets and select the “Submit Asset List” button. No further action is necessary. You may also check the “No Changes” box on your postcard notification and mail it back to our office.
If your FEIN is not recognized, it may be registered incorrectly in the system OR it may not be on file in our office. This problem can be solved by faxing your FEIN on company letterhead to 303-484-3465 or by calling (303) 660-7448. If you prefer email, please contact us at [email protected] .
YES! The online tool is a fast and accurate means for reporting leased assets, and you may also obtain an asset list and/or location list by account number. In addition, it is easy to submit an attachment as either backup –or the filing itself. To use the on-line filing application you will need to have your FEIN and account numbers available.
Yes, you may email the Assessor your company’s FEIN to [email protected], account number and contact information (contact person name, title, and phone number) on company letterhead. We will add it to our database within 48 hours.
You should file EITHER a paper declaration or an on-line declaration, but not both.
