From his award-winning gospel albums to his genre-defining Southern rock anthems and well-loved country hits, few artists have left a more indelible mark on America’s musical landscape than Charlie Daniels.

The Charlie Daniels Band, iconic member of the Grand Ole Opry and County Music Hall of Fame, returns to the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo to share their talents this August.

Charlie Daniels is known for parlaying his passion for music into not only an award-winning career but a platform to support the U.S. military, underprivileged children and others in need.

“I have great memories of seeing him perform at the Fair and Rodeo in 2003,” said Roger Partridge, Chair, Board of Douglas County Commissioners. “On behalf of our Fair Board and my fellow Commissioners, we are honored to welcome this outspoken patriot, beloved mentor to young artists and 83-year-old road warrior back to Douglas County.”

The Charlie Daniels Band will take the stage at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 500 Fairgrounds Dr. in Castle Rock, on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 9:30 p.m. and tickets are on sale now.
