Medical Assistance

Attention:  Douglas County Residents on Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+)

You may have heard in the news recently that Congress may not renew funding for CHP+. If Congress does not act, the CHP+ program in Colorado will end no sooner than February 28, 2018. An exact end date for CHP+ is not known at this time because of the potential for legislative action. Visit CO.gov/HCPF/FutureCHP for the most current information.

There will be no changes to CHP+ benefits or eligibility in February 2018. CHP+ members should continue going to the doctor, and CHP+ kids should continue going to the dentist. If you are currently enrolled and receive your redetermination packet, be sure to complete all required paperwork and return it timely. CHP+ members who owe an enrollment fee need to continue to pay the fee by the deadline listed in their letter. New applications for CHP+ are still being accepted and processed.
