County Treasurer and Assessor Enhance Customer Service with Website Live Chat tool

Real-time online answers to your property-related questions

Need help finding property information or just want quick clarification on a tax or property related issue?  Available today, Douglas County’s Assessor and Treasurer Offices have added a new online chat capability to their websites.   Citizens can now have real-time conversations with staff from both offices through their web browser or via text.

To initiate a chat session, simply click on the conversation bubble on the lower right-hand corner of the screen, and you can instantly begin chatting with a representative from the Assessor or Treasurer’s Office.  Chat is also formatted for mobile devices and is especially easy to use on smartphones.

“We are here to serve our citizens with the goal of elevating customer service and citizen engagement” said Diane Holbert, Douglas County Treasurer, “This new chat feature provides our citizens with convenient and real-time dialog that addresses their specific property or tax related questions.”

The Treasurer and Assessor are partnering with a Colorado company, SnapEngage, who provides a configurable and mobile-friendly live chat portal.
