Hungry Horse Open Space

Hungry Horse native plantsThis 160-acre parcel is located 4 miles south of Parker along Cherry Creek. The paved Cherry Creek Regional Trail winds through Hungry Horse across a short grass prairie that is home to pronghorn, mule deer, prairie dogs, and various raptors.

Access the Cherry Creek Regional Trail from the North Pinery trailhead on State Highway 83 or at Hidden Mesa Open Space. Picnic tables and port-o-lets are at the trailhead.
