South Willow Creek/Roxborough State Park Addition

The South Willow Creek property is 390-acre addition to Roxborough State Park on the southeast side. Colorado State Parks, Great Outdoors Colorado, and Douglas County realized the value of this land and collaborated to place a conservation easement on the property.

South Willow Creek is characterized by mixed grassland and outcroppings of the Dakota Hogback forested with ponderosa pine, Gambel oak, and mountain mahogany shrubland species.
