Roxborough State Park Trail System

Highlights: Outstanding rock formations and native foothills vegetation on over 1600 acres. Bikes and horses are prohibited on trails. No dogs allowed. Park entry fee is required. Accessible ride by appointment. Programs and hikes offered.

Trail Rating: Easy to moderate; Carpenter Peak is 7,205 feet in elevation; cart ride available by appointment.

Trail Length: Short loops and long

Trail Surface: Crusher fines and natural surface

Uses: Hiking allowed. Bikes and horses are prohibited on trials, except Sharptail Trail as accessed from Douglas County Open Space or County Road 5. No dogs allowed.

Amenities: Picnic shelters, restrooms and visitor center.

Location: Santa Fe to Titan Road; head west and it will become Rampart Range, heading south for 3 miles to fire station; turn left and then right onto Roxborough Drive and up to park entrance.
