Deadline to update address for caucus

Precinct caucuses

Secretary of State certifies ballot content

May 9
Public Logic and Accuracy Test from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

May 10
Public Logic and Accuracy Test from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

May 12
Uniformed and overseas citizens ballots mailed

May 29

  • Deadline to change or withdraw party affiliation for primary election
  • Deadline for County Clerk to record ballot preference of an unaffiliated voter in state voter registration system

June 4

  • Ballots mailed to eligible voters (Democratic, Republican and Unaffiliated)
  • 24-hour ballot Drop-off Locations open
  • 22-day Colorado Residency Deadline

June 18

  • Last day a voter may request a ballot be sent by mail from our office
  • Voter Service and Polling Centers open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

June 23
Voter Service and Polling Centers open on Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

June 26

  • Primary Election Day from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
  • All ballot Drop-off Locations and Voter Service and Polling Centers close at 7 p.m.

  • Deadline to receive uniformed and overseas citizens ballots
  • Deadline to cure ballot signature or ID required issues
