Local Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan – Public Comment Opportunity

February 10, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

The Virtual Public Meeting will review the Draft 2021 Hazard Mitigation Plan Update and allow you the opportunity to provide your public comments.  Click here to join the meeting or dial (audio only) 213-357-2812 and enter Conference ID: 836 568 866#

Douglas County and multiple local and regional government partners and stakeholders are engaged in the development of a Local Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan update. This plan will help us reduce the entire County’s vulnerability to natural hazards – and thus reduce or eliminate long-term risk to people and property from hazards. FEMA requires a Hazard Mitigation Plan to be updated every five years.

For additional information please contact Tim Johnson, Director of the Office of Emergency Management, [email protected] or 303-660-7589.
