The Mile-High Regional Emergency Medical and Trauma Advisory Council ( RETAC) members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. RETAC members are the representative body per an Intergovernmental Agreement among the counties of Adams, Arapahoe County, Douglas, Elbert and the City and County of Denver to establish a multi-county regional emergency medical and trauma council known as the Mile-High RETAC.
