Description:
The tall, cylinderical, clear glass bottle was used in the Dupont Chemical Lab and held glycerinin used to make glycerine rose water. The date is unknown. The bottle was donated by Susan Star, daughter of Zede Stan.
The morphology characteristis are as follows:
The bore or oriface is smooth and slightly raised on one side. It measures 1 inch on the outside.
The neck measures 1.2 inches from the oriface to the shoulder.
The body measures approximately 11 inches. No mold seams are present.
The body ends straight and sits on a round base that extends .3 inches and is defined as an angular ring measuring 2.8 inches.
