Description:
Glass and silver hypodermic syringe, No. 5YL, five (5) cc. Glass is broken and repaired using archival glue. Printed in red letters on the side, "MADE IN U.S.A. 2". On plunger end, "RECORD D&H". Locking slot on the base of the syringe for safety.
The syringe is in original box. Lid: "B-D YALE-LOK, HYPODERMIC SYRINGE, NO.5YL, ONE 5cc, US PAT, NO.1, 742, 497, GRADUATED: 1/5cc, RESISTANCE GLASS."
On one end of the lid: "The precision line and tip groove are covered by US Patent Nos. 1, 863, 785, and 1, 998, 982." The syringe would have been sterilized between uses.
