Description:
Very fancy McClellan saddle with four side pockets on two saddle bags and a padded seat. Sheep fleece lines the underside. Padded seat is stitched. It has a tall cantle and pommel with no horn, typical for McClellan. The saddlebags are two (2) small ones in front and two (2) larger ones in back. They are held in place by a brass hook and have leather straps with brass buckles for closures. Nickel conchos hold the straps on the front, one (1) concho holds the strap of one buckle on the back, another concho in a leather roseatte has long leather straps. Flaps/fenders attach to the saddle and connect the wooden stirrups. Each stirrup has a leather hood with some lettering on each, worn. Girth/cinch is two (2) leather straps in rings on each side; rings connect to the saddle.
