Noxious weeds are a part of the Colorado landscape, but how do you control them to protect the land they infest, preserve native plants, turf and agricultural crops?
Learn more about the different types of noxious weeds, proper herbicide application techniques and the safe use of pesticides at the County’s Noxious Weed Symposium March 17, from 8:30 a.m. – 5:05 p.m. at the Douglas County Event Center, 500 Fairgrounds Drive in Castle Rock.

Specialists from Colorado State University Extension, National Resources Conservation Service, CO Dept. of Agriculture, Bayer Crop Science, Wilbur Ellis Agribusiness Division, South Suburban Parks & Rec. and Douglas County Noxious Weed Control will speak on a variety of topics. Local vendors will be present, offering products and services to help stop the spread of noxious weeds.
