One place, more than one solution

Family Resource Pavilion thrives behind partnership model

Representatives from multiple partner agencies, including Douglas County, celebrate the grand opening of the Shiloh House’s Family Resource Pavilion in Centennial.

A demonstration of partnership in action, the new Family Resource Pavilion in Centennial offers a one-stop shop for families from Douglas and Arapahoe counties to receive a comprehensive network of individualized family support services.

The Family Resource Pavilion, which opened earlier this month, provides a place for families with children to go for help on a variety of life’s challenges such as school and behavioral issues, family conflict, drug use, juvenile court involvement, housing and financial strain and more, all without having to drive to multiple locations.

“This is a great example of the strong partnerships in our communities,” said County Commissioner and Board Chair David Weaver. “The Family Resource Pavilion will no doubt prove to be a valuable asset to the children and families in our communities giving them a central place to access services. This is a model, not just in Colorado, but nationally, on how public agencies can partner with private providers and stakeholders to help serve families effectively.”

Pavilion partners on site include primary partner and owner Shiloh House, The Juvenile Assessment Center,  Synergy Addiction Research and Treatment Services, AllHealth Network (formerly Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network), the 18th Judicial District Juvenile Diversion Program, Arapahoe County Department of Human Services, Douglas County Department of Human Services, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

Experts at the pavilion, along with other community partners, work as a team to learn about a family’s unique strengths and needs and match them with services, supports and resources all under one roof to promote individual and family wellbeing and success.

The Family Resource Pavilion, 9700 E. Easter Lane, Centennial, is open 24 Hours per day, seven days a week. For more information, or to schedule an appointment please contact 720-213-1400. Drop-ins are also welcome.
