Project Update

Updated Sept. 6, 2023

Closure: On Friday, September 8, from 9 p.m. thru Saturday, September 9, at 2 p.m. Inverness Drive South bridge will be closed to finish the final placement of polymer concrete on the bridge deck. The moisture content of the bridge deck is critical for the correct placement of the polymer concrete top layer. See above map for detour route in green.

In 2020, Douglas County repaired cracks on the Inverness Drive South bridge over Cottonwood Creek. Further safety inspections revealed the need to design and construct permanent repairs to the bridge surface.
