If you live in Douglas County, plan to vote in the general election and need elections-related assistance, six conveniently-located voter service and polling centers will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. beginning October 24 and each weekday until Election Day, Nov. 8. Centers will also be open on two Saturdays, Oct. 29 and November 5 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
On Election Day a total of 15 voter service and polling center hours will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. thanks, to the Election Day-addition of all nine Douglas County high schools designated as voter service and polling centers, through a cooperative agreement with the School District.
Register to vote, obtain your personalized ballot, receive assistance with your ballot or help obtaining a replacement ballot, drop off your ballot and more by visiting one of the voter service and polling centers located throughout Douglas County.
Know the ballot deadline. Your ballot must be received by 7 p.m. on Nov. 8, Election Day. A postmark of Nov. 8 is not valid as the received date. Your ballot must have been placed in a designated ballot box by 7 p.m. on Election Day or you must be in line at a designated ballot box location no later than the close of polls (7 p.m.) on Election Day, Nov 8.
