Toastmasters International, the global organization devoted to communication and leadership skills development, officially opened its new World Headquarters in Douglas County, Colorado, within the existing Meridian International Business Center.
“We are thankful that Toastmasters selected a Douglas County site for its worldwide headquarters and are confident that the community assets contributing to Douglas County being known as such a great place to live, work and play, will also contribute to Toastmasters’ success here,” said Douglas County Commissioner Lora Thomas, on behalf of the Board of Douglas County Commissioners.
At 106,575 square feet, Toastmasters’ Colorado headquarters space is nearly double the size of Toastmaster’s previous World Headquarters and is expected to provide the organization with adequate space for 25 to 30 years.
Toastmasters expects to fill more than 60 positions at the building over the coming months.
