If you are one of our community’s Veterans, or know and love a service member, you’ll want to mark your calendar for Monday, Jan. 30, to learn more about a new VA clinic coming to Douglas County.

VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS) will host a town hall meeting from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, at the Castle Pines Library. Senior Leadership from VA ECHCS, the Veterans Benefits Administration Denver Regional Office, and Ft. Logan National Cemetery will answer questions and hear your feedback.

The event will be held in the Event Hall at the Castle Pines Library, 360 Village Square Lane in Castle Pines. VA ECHCS is inviting public participation in this town hall, encouraging an exchange of information and feedback that will help VA health care meet Veteran needs in this community.

This meeting is the first opportunity to learn about the new VA outpatient clinic that has been leased in Castle Rock. The new location will be a 20-year lease built at the northeast corner of Prairie Hawk Drive and Dacoro Lane. The new facility is expected to open in 2024 and will provide primary care services to Veterans enrolled in VA healthcare.

The Douglas County Veterans Service Office will also be available to answer questions about benefits and services available locally to Veterans and their families. Visit their webpage for more information.
