Waiting in line at the DMV is a thing of the past!

Paperwork Drop Boxes are now available at Douglas County’s three motor vehicle offices.

To efficiently and safely serve Douglas County residents, the Motor Vehicle Department is now offering online, phone and Paperwork Drop Box transactions for available services. When necessary, you will be contacted to schedule an in-person appointment after submitting your paperwork.

Follow these three easy steps to complete your motor vehicle transaction.

STEP 1: Select one of the following customer service options:

STEP 2: If your transaction cannot be completed online, at a kiosk, or by mail, just drop off your necessary paperwork in a Paperwork Drop Box.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week at:

  • Lone Tree Motor Vehicle Office, 9350 Heritage Hills Circle, Lone Tree, 80124
  • Castle Rock Motor Vehicle Office, 301 Wilcox Street Castle Rock, CO 80104 (west entrance)

Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at:

  • Highlands Ranch Motor Vehicle Office, 2223 Wildcat Reserve Parkway, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129

STEP 3: Our office will contact you after your paperwork is evaluated to gather additional information, collect payment, or schedule an in-person appointment if necessary.
