What’s on my Ballot?

June 25, 2024 Election Ballot Information

Two elections are happening in June: the DEMOCRATIC/REPUBLICAN PARTY PRIMARY ELECTION and the SPECIAL CONGRESSIONAL VACANCY ELECTION. The Special Congressional Vacancy Election is included on the Democratic/Republican Primary ballots.

The composite sample ballot for the Democratic/Republican Primary Election includes ALL districts and contests. Douglas County voters will receive the ballot style containing ONLY those districts and contests specific to their residential address on which they are eligible to vote.

  • The winners of the primary election races will be the Democratic/Republican Party’s nominees in the November 2024 General Election.
  • The winner of the Special Congressional Vacancy Election will fill the vacant seat in the United States Congress – District 4 for the rest of the unexpired term of office, starting in July 2024 and ending in January 2025.
