By order of Sheriff Darren Weekly, Stage 1 Fire Restrictions are in place for unincorporated areas of Douglas County.  Ordinance No. O-012-004 restricts open fires, open burning, and the use of fireworks in the unincorporated areas of Douglas County. Additional information on fire restrictions stages can be located at the Douglas County Emergency Management website.

Tax Authority Abstract and Certification Reports

To access information, select a tax authority below. The links will open current documents for the selected authority. Prior year Abstract Summaries, Certification Letters and related reports are further down the page and are grouped by tax year, and those documents contain information for all taxing authorities combined. The selector tool only contains information for the current Tax Year.  Prior to final reports that are published in late November or early December, all date is preliminary and subject to change.

Please note:

  • For Tax Year 2025 reports, the new Split Assessment Rate structure has been applied using estimated Residential Assessment Rates of 6.25% and 7.05%, respectively.
  • Assessment Rates will be finalized by the State Board of Equalization (SBOE) in October, but the anticipated assessment rates are being used.
  • The Tax Year 2024 Value Adjustments of $55k for residential property and $30k for commercial property have been removed for 2025.
  • In Tax Year 2026, many assessment rates change again, and the Value Adjustment returns to residential property in a percentage form (10% up to $700k in AV).
  • State Assessed values have been include included in the August reporting.
