Are you looking for resources for yourself or a loved one? We could all use a little extra support from time to time. Whether it’s employment services, mental health resources, food assistance, healthcare, housing, or another need, Douglas County has built a webpage to convene local support organizations in your neighborhood.

The Board of Douglas County Commissioners prioritizes providing a safety net that protects vulnerable individuals and promotes self-sufficiency. That’s why we’ve developed a list of resources for all ages across Douglas County that focus on the following needs:

Working together, the Douglas County Health Department, Department of Human Services, the Healthy Families Partnership and the Older Adult Initiative collaborated and collected the resources included in this online tool. The Healthy Family Partnership is a community-based source for maternal/child health and family wellness, carrying out the Health Department’s mission to provide trusted information for residents to make decisions about their health. The Older Adult Initiative helps residents stay independent and thriving in Douglas County into the golden years.

County staff will continue to add community resources to this tool as they become available. If you know of a resource that should be added or if you have feedback on the new tool, please submit that information using our survey.
