We are planning for the future—and your voice is a critical part of the process.

The 2050 Transportation Plan is a forward-looking effort to create a smarter, safer, and more connected transportation system across Douglas County. Your input on the 2040 Transportation plan helped drive projects such as the I-25 Gap Widening, US 85 Widening, and the County Line Road between Broadway and University project, which will begin next month. Now it’s time to look ahead even further.

This comprehensive, multi-modal strategy will guide how public funds are invested in transportation improvements for decades to come.

Why Your Input Matters

From safer streets and smoother commutes to better bike paths and reliable transit options, the 2050 Transportation Plan aims to improve mobility and access for everyone, no matter how you get around. By gathering feedback from community members like you, along with local stakeholders, the plan will prioritize the projects and policies that truly reflect our collective vision for the future.

Take the Final Public Survey – Open Through August 22!

Now’s the time to weigh in! After our preliminary survey and open houses in early 2025, the final online public survey for the 2050 Transportation Plan is live and available through Aug. 22. You can share your thoughts in just 2 minutes or stick around a little longer to provide more detailed input.
