Every year, your Board of Douglas County Commissioners reports back to you on annual accomplishments achieved with and through others during the State of Douglas County event.

Join us to take a look back at 2025. Crime is down.  Our largest transportation project ever is complete – and we’ve made record investments in parks. Whether it’s investing in public safety, improving transportation, providing services for our most vulnerable, or ensuring Douglas County’s strong water future, partnerships across Douglas County have driven achievements that support a strong and growing economy.

The State of the County event program, beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, will highlight these shared achievements and more. Visit our YouTube channel to WatchLIVE.

As part of this event, attendees are also asked to bring a gently used winter coat for donation to SECOR Cares, a local organization working with us to ensure every member of our community has access to warmth this winter.

If you are not attending State of the County but would still like to help, please consider donating directly to the Douglas County Community Foundation(DCCF).
