By order of Sheriff Darren Weekly, Stage 1 Fire Restrictions are in place for unincorporated areas of Douglas County.  Ordinance No. O-012-004 restricts open fires, open burning, and the use of fireworks in the unincorporated areas of Douglas County.

Adopted Nov. 12, 2019, 2018 International Fire Code (IFC) as amended as Ordinance No. O-019-002.

Colorado Safety Code for Elevators & Escalators and Standard for Platform Lifts and Stairway Chair Lifts

Effective June 27, 2023, the Douglas County Board of County Commissioners adopted a Resolution Approving Revisions to State Safety Code for; Elevators and Escalators (ASME A17.1-2019), Platform Lifts and Stairway Chair Lifts (ASME A18.1-2017), Existing Elevators and Escalators (ASME A17.3-2005), and Automated People Movers (ASCE 21-2013).
