The vision for Zebulon Regional Sports Complex is taking shape, and significant decisions are ahead for the Board of Douglas County Commissioners. Plan to join us and provide your comments.
During a Special Business Meeting on Tuesday, March 31, Commissioners are scheduled to consider four items related to Zebulon:
1) A contract with KT Development to program, design, build, operate and maintain Zebulon Regional Sports Complex
2) An agreement so infrastructure installation and site grading can begin
3) A contract with financial consultant Stifel
4) A resolution declaring the county’s intent to finance Zebulon with Certificates of Participation
Staff will present all four items together, and then there will be time for public comment. During that time, citizens may comment on any or all of the four items. Please sign up with staff in the hallway outside the Hearing Room if you would like to speak. Each person will be given 2 minutes.
Additional background and documents about Zebulon and the competitive public process to get to these proposed contracts is online at douglas.co.us/Zebulon.
