In observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday, all Douglas County Government offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19. Offices will reopen on Friday, June 20, for normal business. Ballot drop boxes and VSPC Services (opening Monday, June 16) will still be available. Many County services are available 24/7 by visiting online services.
Statement from the Board of Douglas County Commissioners:
“With the County Commissioners’ action on Thursday, Aug. 19 to opt out of the Tri-County Health Department mask order, Douglas County also opted out of the enforcement of this order. In Douglas County, individual school districts, schools, and childcare facilities are not required to comply with the requirements of this order. While TCHD has an inspection role relative to childcare centers/facilities to ensure minimum health regulations are met, these facilities are licensed by the State of Colorado.”
