Join this safe celebration at 6 p.m. Dec. 31, at EchoPark Stadium in Parker

New Year’s Eve is a meaningful time to gather with family, friends and neighbors, and your Board of Douglas County Commissioners is excited to offer a fun, family-friendly way to welcome 2026 together.
Beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, a 10-minute drone show will illuminate the sky above EchoPark Stadium, 11901 Newlin Gulch Blvd. in Parker. There will be local vendors offering food and warm beverages for purchase before the event.
Drone shows are significantly quieter than traditional fireworks, making them a thoughtful alternative for many community members and a safer option in Colorado’s dry climate.
“New Year’s Eve is the perfect moment to celebrate where we’ve been and look ahead to where we’re going,” said Commissioner Abe Laydon. “We invite everyone in Douglas County to join us for this spectacular drone show, which offers a safe, creative, and wildfire-conscious way to ring in 2026—while also being considerate of Veterans, older adults, pets and others who may be sensitive to loud explosions.”
